Hey guys, I have a 1997 base 240SX and the headlight output is just plain sad. My brother suggested that I get a pair of the Sylvania Superstars for it since they seem to have god output. I ran a search a found that the product code for the Silverstars that would fit our car is H6054. Can anyone confirm this? Plus, previous posts had said that you needed to get a different housing if you wanted to intall these bulbs??? I know that the 97-98 models came with projector headlights which are different from the 95-96 models, but am not aware that there needs to be any excess equipment needed to install the Silverstars. Anyone know if I can just pop the suckers right in?

i've changed to sylvania silverstar model H1ST for low beams.works perfectly, and it's lot brighter than the stock.I don't know where you got that model number, but if you are getting the silverstar model, then its H1ST. I have same year 240sx. 97.

H6054 is for S13 240SX (1989-1994).

H6054 is the sealed beam lights. You just need the bulb, not the big rectangular lamp.

I just installed them last month, much better compared to stock. I might go buy some PIAAs in the future or HID conversion. Nick
