I am thinking about doing just a few small things to my Pathfinder to make it fit in a little more. Nothing really major since I wanna keep the whole vehicle stock. I would like to know what peoples opinions are on Silverstars. I know that they do make an improvement over the regular halogen lights and I can notice a difference but is there any better lights out there that makes more a difference than the Silverstars. Also I have one question, Dose anybody drive with there fog lights on in the dark.

HID...High Intensity Discharge, is much brighter and is the standard out there in luxury vehicles. theres alot of controversy against them because our headlights were not made for these so alot of glare/unwanted light is shone everywhere, but I have an HID kit installed and its not THAT bad. to be honest, id rather see HID's head on than that piercing white light from silverstars. I dont know how silverstar/nighthawk bulbs get DOT approval. People hate on HID because its a different colour and find it "annoying" but it just stands out so people think its brighter than it actually is. Silverstars are BLINDING. I have no problem with people driving at me or behind me at night with aftermarket HID (for the most part, some cars are REDICULOUSly bright, but the pathys and qx4s with the kits are not that bad) but when somebody drives with those damn silverstars.....i literally have to pull over and let them pass me.

Aside from the topic....anybody notice 2006+ honda civic drivers drive around with their brights all the time and BLIND you completely? THEIR THE WORST. my friend has one and i guess theres two different modes for brights or something, he thinks one mode is regular light, and most civic drivers do. I get so mad. I let them pass me and tailgate them so i can blind them with my HID's but they never really do anything...so i guess my lights arent that bad

im not a huge fan of silverstars, i think they do look good but they burn out way too quick average life is like 6 months, and they always burn out within a week of eachother so its not a fluke

i roll with sylvania long life bulbs now.... maintenance free for the win!
