SXM signal loss

2015 rogue sl with navigation. Brand new car.

I notice that the SXM signal (I am typically on rock station, not that it should matter), frequently drops when the car is being driving on a street with trees. I am not talking off road jungle, but just city streets with trees. Has anyone noticed this? I am in the san francisco bay area and I would guess the signal strength would be just fine in this urban area at least.

This never happened in my acura tl. Is this a feature of the rogue?

I would wouldn't call it a feature, more of a short coming. Yes, both my 2011 & 2012 suffered from this, so I'm not surprised to hear signal strength hasn't improved.
