Hello Everybody......! I am new to your site and am ecstatic to find you....I have a 1992 Nissan 240SX convertable..... .....I am doing some work to it, and have had a really hard time finding someone with common sense to work on it.....pout. I have had nightmares when getting the rear brakes done, and even a simple oil change and fluid check ( that one they left the radiator cap loose so it blew off while I was driving.....(I had taken it to two different dealerships ) soooo.....Since I was going to try a couple of other repairs I thought I'd ask some educated opinions.....I need to have my struts replaced in the rear, and have been told they have to go in through the ragtop to do it....does anyone know how to make this procedure less traumatic....? Also it has a slight oil leak....I find no oil to speak of where I park, and it has great compression and no blue smoke.....the excess oil I found the other day when I was detailing the engine was at the seam in the front of the block....any ideas how much I could expect to pay to have the gasket replaced, and how impaeritive is it that I get that done soon......?
