switching vinly with glass back window???

hello all nicoclub. im kinda new to the forum scene but maybe u guys could offer some assistance. im just curious if i could switch the vinly back window with a glass back. kinda like an s2k.

There has been talk of this in the past. The biggest obstacle is the vinyl window folds in the middle when the top comes down. A glass window would break. A miata window zips down before you put the top down in the older ones. That might be an idea, but I don't have the skills or time to try it.
