switching valve covers?

Ok, this might be a stupid question, but i live in cali so cops are *****es about cars, i was wondering if its possible to switch the blacktop valve cover onto a redtop? If it looks stock its a better chance of not getting caught.

Its, because the blacktop has that black plastic dull look, if i paint it it will be black and shiny.

Id paint it a champaign gold. Thats the color of the SR20DE and KA24DE valve covers. Very ugly, very stock.

Yes, the S13 valve covers are interchangeable. I think phase2 has brand new ones if you would rather go that route. Good luck with those cali types.

But you'll have to ditch the spark plug cover that says "INTERCOOLER TURBO." You could just get one of those billet covers, however if you ditch everything just try explaining the coils where plug wires and a distibutor should be.
