switching to manual in the AT... mine goes straight into 3rd when i do it right!

when i throw down on the hwy and i shift into manual mode it automtically drops into 4th but when i throw into manual and then smack it down it goes from 5th to 3rd without a hitch!!!! does any one else's do this? it ROCKS!!!! down shifting into 2nd SUCKS but when i'm on the hwy and i go from 5th to 3rd it's SUPER FAST! is this just my car?

It depends on your speed. At least on the 07. I play with it a lot. On the 07 when you driving it on low rpm(2-3K) say in 4th you can quickly put it back on the second. Just push it back twice fast. If it would go too high rpm(close to redline) it won't let you down shift that much. I love playing with that. In the last 2-3 weeks I've been shifting myself.
