Switching Tire Size

I recently changed from the stock 225/55/18 tires to a 245/50/18 tire. This was the closest match that I could find in a larger tire with only a 0.36 % variation in the diameter.

What a difference the lower profile and wider tire have made. Sharper turn in and better cornering with no discernible degradation in ride comfort.

+ 1 for 245-50-18. Also quieter than the old Dunlops.

I switched mine to 225/65/17 Bridgestone Blizzark dm-v1 .. Well I have yet to put them on, but I already bought them after learning that my old set of winter steel wheels used on my previous 03 G35 fits in nicely...

I don't know if it will be a good decision though... especially when my current wheels are 19"
