Switching the sr20 into newer body style?

Well, I totaled my 90 240 last week. I have a 91 that has a broken timing chain and its an automatic that we're putting my motor and everything in from my wrecked car. The auto to manual conversion is done and we're dropping the motor in tomorow hopefully, if its not raining again. Does anybody know if theres anything different I would have to do as far as wiring b/c Im putting the SR in a 91 240 out of a 90, or should everything still be plug and play. My friend was telling me that I would have to repin some of the plugs to make the wiring harness work in the 91, but I didnt think there was any difference in the wiring of the s13's. Anybody know for sure?

well, you might have to rewire the plug that connects to cluster. i believe the 90 model is a brown plug and the 91 model is white? not really sure if that makes a difference. other than that, it should be fine because you don't have to worry about ps.

I dont know of any differences. The only problem with the cluster is on the 89-90's you have to use the tach from the sr cluster so if you still have that tach installed you may have to replace it with a ka tach now. Other than that everything is the same

everything is the same.. alot easier... the cluster wiring is the same...just use ur sr harness, use the dohc power steering lines. and use ur dohc cluster.
