switching gt3071r t2 to t3

I have tried searching to see any info on switching to t3 and am having no luck. Where can I get the parts and what parts are needed? I'm looking for the quickest spool With my turbo and t3 flange. The main reason I'm switching is for the fullrace twinscroll Mani.

This may not help you too much, but i am also looking for a t3 flange (but for a Gtir turbo). I called the guys at enjukuracing and they said they would have no problem helping me source one, just let them know when i was ready and good to go. I would try calling them. Good luck

I was talking about the turbo exhaust housing(turbine), not the manifold. So you obviously have a single scroll GT3071R, which means you will need to buy a twin scroll exhaust housing with a T3 flange. I guess I'm not really sure what you are asking. Were you thinking you could just cut off the T2 flange and weld a T3 flange onto your existing single scroll exhaust housing and make it into a twin scroll? You need to mate a twin scroll exhaust housing to a twin scroll mani.

I have a GT3071R twin scroll along with the Full Race twin scroll mani in my car..... good setup!

Yep, that's what I assumed. But I was confused why you were asking what you need!?! You need the T3 twin scroll housing and the mani..... which you obviously already know that since you just posted it above. So just call up Garrett or get it from Full Race.

Looks like I'm getting a new turbine too. I can't find a housing to fit. I guess the t2 3071r has an oddball size.

I forgot about that. The T2 3071r has a unique turbine wheel fo rthe t2 housing. I would sell your turbo complete and get the TS unit with your mani. Should save you some $$$.

Dang man, what happened with your 240?

Wifey made me sell it back in July. We bought a new house. I've been crying every since. I bought an IS300 as a DD and thought about boosting it but it would take to much loot to make it my kind of fast and ruin it as a nice DD in the process. Besides, I'm kinda partial to the S chassis.
