Does anyone know if it's feasible to use a driver's seat on the passenger's side, and vice versa?? I ask because I'm looking to buy some R32 GTS-t seats, where the passenger's side (JDM driver's side) has adjustable lumbar support, thigh support, all of that, and the driver's side (JDM passenger's side) has no adjustment at all. Is there any way to maybe switch the seatbelts over to the other side of the seat???

(BTW, this is in an S13 coupe...)

the seat backs should be able to come off of the brackets for the bottom. It's been a while since I've had a set of Nissan seats apart, and I can't quite remember how they come apart. I do know that the seat bottoms are easily detached from the brackets (4 bolts). Just start looking at what bolt disconnects what.

I know the s13 seats are directly swappable. This has been used to correct the hole in the driver's seat since both back rests are symmetrical.

The R32 jdm driver seat (I think the one you are looking at is the one being sold in the forums right now?), you'll have to check w/ the guy, but I think those were customized so they would fit an s13. So, unless you have the railing support on the USDM driver's side, you're probably SOL.

I'm not sure what you are talking about w/ switching the seatbelts around, but the adjustment stuff will be pretty hard to switch since it's toward the outside of the door, and there is no real space on the USDM side. The seatbelts will look the same either on passenger or driver's side.

Of course, the best bet is to ask the seller, and if you live near him/her, going there for a test-fit would be ideal. Otherwise, you can ask for a series of pics that you can sort of make a mental model of in your mind. I really doubt you'd be able to switch the things like lumbar and thigh support over (unless they were built symmetrically as the other seat and you can just reverse the location of the controls). Again, you'd have to see what the hardware looks like.

Hope that helps.
