i have looked around for an oem switch that i cud use to kill my in dash dvd so if i get pulled over i wont get ticketed and for my subs.obviously with the subs it would be too late but i work nights so it would be nice to have. if anyone can help me out that would be great.

i dont have heated seats so that would be a good set but cud i use them for this or do they have a harness on them. i dont want to pay $50+ for the set when regular switches cost only $5.

Why not just hit stop on your DVD player? If it's got nav then just pause it and switch it to the map screen. I tried watching a DVD while driving and found myself extremely distracted and will not do it. It's probably not the safest way to drive.

ive got all movies on my ipod so i just disconnect throw it in the glove box and switch to navi like EmptyV stated

the heated seat switches do have a harness

yeah and dont bother trying to mod that switch to make it a regular functioning switch, i broke the clips opening mine and had to order a new one (lucky for me i found one on ebay yesterday for $6 shipped!)

haha the y came from the spell checker on my i phone.

on a side note i buffed the q today with a cheap buffer and it made a world of difffernce. what kind of wax is highly recomended? i like what i have now and intend to use the rest of the bottle but may want a better qaulity later.

the swtches were going to be for the lights and amp. but i will just tuck them under the dash i wired one in to kill the front dvd screen. love it nice security blanket. and i dont watch movies i burned a dvd of music videos
