Has anyone made either of the power outlets in the front of the car switched, so it only has power to it when the car is on? If so, can you show me where on here (I searched, I swear!) or maybe present a solution?
Looking to have my radar detector on only when the car is running.

So they changed it to always on unlike my old rogue.
Anyways, why don’t you hardwire it to the fuse box.
The good thing about the present power outlet is that if you ever get a dashcam.
You can have parking mode on which is great in the big city if you are always street parking.

Well, I actually thought it was pretty stupid for Nissan to keep the outlet on all the time.
Hence, my nonchalant tone on Nissan’s approach among other things they do crappy.
Didn’t mean to get somebody’s panties in a bunch. Lol!

I agree it is stupid.
In my PT it was as simple was swapping outlets around. Times change I guess.
