So I installed XenTec 35W HIDs about a year ago, and they've been working fine since then. I decided to change the color, so I ordered some bulbs from DDM. I installed them last night, and they worked perfectly. Tonight, however, they don't work at all. I've checked the fuses, and even tried going back to the old bulbs, but they don't ignite anymore. The only other thing I can think of are the ballasts, but how likely is it for both to fail at the same time?

Anybody have any ideas?

tried it... still didn't work. then I tried connecting halogens, and that worked fine.. so I determined it's something wrong with the ballasts.

Picked up new ballasts at DDM, installed them, and now it's working fine. Hopefully they'll continue to work through tomorrow.

I don't know what happened to the old ballasts, but I know they don't work. :gotme

Xentecs arent very good so its not surprise they stopped working, i used to have them and both the slim and fat fail eventually. Now DDMs and no problems at all so far
