switchback LEDs+ double turn signal opinions

so i have the type 1 switchback led turn signal mod installed on my coupe.

i bought the 60 led version off ebay, so theyre mediocre leds from china.
i will eventually buy the 120 led version, or the v-led's version. but i am a full time student without a job so this will have to do for now.

i really like the way these look on my car, i am however a bit worried about the visibility of the blinker when active. they just dont give out the same output as the stock halogen bulbs.

so i was thinking about tapping my parking lights into my turn signal light to flash in conjunction with these switchbacks.

1. how do you all think this would look having two turn signals?

2. if i do go this route, should i swap the halogen bulb in the parking light to an led(most likely a 4 watt led) to match the instant on/off of the switchback led, at the cost of potentially reduced light output again?

also, by law in CA, am i required to have parking lights on at night?
