I don't see anything more daunting than usual with the Q as far as conversion goes. It's the same as converting any other auto to a stick. Trans tunnel mods, adding a clutch pedal, changing all the same basic things you would with any other car. I'd be willing to bet somewhere on this wretched earth someone is rolling a G50 stick. We just don't know about it. Anything is possible given the right experience, knowledge or checking account. Converting anything from an auto to a stick or vise-versa is a pain in the you know where.
Some people make Q mods sound like rocket science, but this is just a car like millions of cars made before and after it. Subject to the laws that apply to all cars everywhere. There is no special exception to the Q, the laws of physics it does not defy. Modding ANY car is a risk, and sometimes ends in less reliability and reduced build quality. We aren't all Chip Foose or Troy Trepanier and have Bill Gates' bank account. Anything you can do to any other car you can do to the Q. It may be more difficult somewhere, and easier elsewhere. Could be more expensive than some, cheaper than some, more or less time consuming. Don't let pessimists bring you down. If you have the money or time or experience/any combo of the three you can do it.
