swirl control valve removal...

hey nissan techs guys i wonder if i find a way to keep the swirl control valves open can i get some extra power or not or i take them out... sugestion and coments are wellcome...

not much if you do take it off i dont know about keeping them open but if you want a hp difference from pullin sumthing off pull off that dam fan clutch that thing bogs the ka engine down alot, ripped mine off and put and electric fan on

You won't get any noticeable power keeping them open or removing them. It's more of a "might as well get this out of the way" if you are already removing other parts off the intake manifold (usually for turbo applications).
