I HAVE AN 2002 PATHFINDER IT IS SHOWING A PO1130 SWIRL CONTROL VALVE CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE IT IS LOCATED AND WHAT IT DOES AND IF THIS IS BAD WILL IT SHOE A P300 MULTICYLINDER MISFIRE

I HAVE A 2002 PATHFINDER CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE SWIRL CONTROL VALVE IS AND WHAT IT DOES ALLSO IT IS SHOWING A PO 300 WOULD A BAD SWIRL CONTROL VALVE CAUSE THIS CODE POP UP

Uh oh. 2001-2004 Automatic Pathfinders & QX4's had a power valve screw problem - the screws back themselves out and find their way into the combustion chambers. Known to throw swirl valve code + misfire. You have to take intake manifold off to see what has happened.

Manual transmission Pathfinders & QX4's do not have these screws. Why, I don't know, as the valve screws have nothing to do with transmission.

You could just replace swirl valve and see what happens.

You can also use a borescope to see if the screws are missing. They are pretty cheap off amazon and cool thing to have. Just snake it behind the throttle body.
