Just poking around for some easy HP ideas, racings getting tough, car is stopping and handling with the best of them, its time for a couple more ponies.
Going for a baseline dyno run to see what we have.

Can you post a final list of mods to the NA and progressive HP charts?

Thanks, I am sure this can help others as well, by any chance do you have a un-modded baseline? Is the frankenmotor going to be turbo or just a new exciting combo?
What constitutes lighting the driveline, aluminum driveshaft?
Not experienced with the nuances, how will your dyno numbers compare to our Mustang dyno numbers?

Any way to chat you up less publicly? I have no AIM

email me at [email protected] and i can give you my cell if you wanna text me about stuff. it was all done on a dynojet dyno so idk how numbers would differ. no baseline either. i thought i did but we searched my dyno graphs at z1 and only for modded. lightened driveline was just getting the front half of driveshaft remade with z32 slip yoke. the j30 driveshaft had giant rubber dampeners and the tubing was massive. when driveshaft shop made me a new one for the manual swap id say it was at least 10-15lbs lighter.

franken motor consists of following:
90 z32 NA block
94 J30 baffled oil pan
94 J30 10Y heads (flow better than 30P heads found on early style z32)
91 z32 5spd cams (friend says that the lobe on intake cams is different from manual to auto)
91 z32 valve covers (routes pcv lines under plenum instead of up front)
97 J30 10Y lower intake
full custom J30 upper plenum (balance tube delete/relocation, stanza 60mm throttle bodies, pcv/egr delete, equalizing runner #6)

im gonna be routing the pcv lines off intake valve covers to a catch can and let it vent to atmosphere. the pcv ports on drivers side valve cover, i am just bridging them together with a 90 degree hose. im deleting the balance tube off the top of the plenum and getting AN-8 fittings welded on underside of plenum and making a vacuum box that will mount where the egr used to mount on lower intake.

wiring for coilpacks, injectors are being tucked under plenum and mounting the fuel components on the back of the motor with vacuum box.

Thanks for all that, from my research you appear to be making a lateral move with the camshafts and going to the early and less stable VTEC , please educate me on the #6 equalizing and if Im wrong on the cams.

You have a detailed mail with my details.

Thank you, I will be looking at the intake today.

Last night we tore into it pretty hard, all thats left is valve covers and timing belt then the heads can come off.

That would be interesting to see (Before and after Dyno)
That's the first thing I noticed when Shark sent me a J30 Plenum.
#6 gets really tall and skinny !
Don't really notice it on the motor, Or at least I didn't.

I am currently port matching a intake, the bottom of #6 runner is fatter, I assume to make up volume where the PTU mounting cuts into the top.
