I was posting in cmoody2006's radiator thread so yeah this is there too but anywho...I just got a great deal on a Mishimoto radiator and fan combo. The radiator I got is for the S13 with the KA24DE but give them a call because they got a huge shipment in on Tuesday so they should have what you need(SR, S14....). call to order: (909) 628-1707

radiator:http://mishimoto.com/product_i...-89KA

fan:http://mishimoto.com/product_i...an-14

That combo was only $250 shipped with 3-day FedEx and if you get it soon enough it should ship today. I personally am psyched to be getting this and hopefully this will help some people out. oh and I got my confirmation e-mail quick to .

if you want to check out their site: http://www.tunerzimage.com/

EDIT: Also, I did call and double check that it was ok for me to post this deal on here.

You have to post your thoughts and opinions once you get the thing, I have been looking at mishimoto radiators ever since I saw one about a month ago with dual pusher puller fans wired to a DIF controller.

So the Rad and Fan showed up today. Unfortunately the mounting hardware for the fan wasn't included but that's no biggie(although it did at least come with some things that pop into those slots you can see on the fan, they have holes for the mounting stuff to go through). All in all I'm psyched and I think it will be great.

EDIT: performance reviews etc. to come after the rest of my parts show up. BTW I need an HKS fan controller so if anyone knows where I can get one(they're on backorder) it would be greatly appreciated, otherwise I'll have to settle for something else.

umm...why is there some weird/long chain attached to my radiator cap...it has key rings to lol, as if just in case you decide to use it for a key chain...hmm.

welds look pretty clean, they of course aren't perfect but nothing bad i don't think.

14" 1900cfm fan with ~5.5A draw

i was told that this is normal for aluminum...i haven't seen it before but something is rubbing off the sides kinda like halfway dry spray paint...

That halfway dry spray paint is probably the polishing compound they use.. Maybe not. I dunno. But my Koyo had a bit on it too. It was in a shrink wrapped package too.

I think they look good. And probably perform well. I would have bought one, if I didn't already have a Koyo..

Food for thought

hmm...that makes sense...cause where it rubbed off it did look like it was nice polished aluminum underneath. what got me is that i was told that aluminum is known for doing that...cookware specifically...but wtv.

is that normal price or a special? if so, how long will it last at that price?

the "dry spraypaint" is just the aluminum before the polish it. thats how it looks when it comes in "stock" form. the chain is to hook to your radiator support or radiator to keep from losing your cap. i sell some radiators just like that for a little cheaper, im gonna review that one too. looks like a decent deal though. ill check on the availability of the hks unit for you through my suppliers as well.

@ANVIL: it's special but if you explain the situation it should be fine(as i said they told me i could post it). I called them to ask some questions and then he just told me he could hook me up rather than me buying it on ebay or their site, no dates or whatever.

@srpowered240sx: oh ok, well that's weird but wtv, it's just the sides of the rad so no worries. ohhh...that makes sense, but none the less the chain has got to go lol.

sweet, that would be great if you could find one cause time is getting short, the rest of my parts are already on the way. Thank you so much.

glad to hear it man, your welcome.

I think I'll be putting mine in tomorrow. my water pump, rad hoses, and thermostat showed up yesterday sooo...i guess i'll either run the clutch fan or a toggle switch for now.
