Yes, stickgoat is alive...no, my car is still down. :(

Anyway.... My boyfriend and I went off today to look at a black '95 SE he'd seen the other day at a little used dealership.

The price on the window said $3900 which we both immediately enjoyed. Upon further inspection, the car was unfortunately an automatic, but with only 55k miles.

We felt this warrented a test drive, so we took it out for a few. The car most definitely needs a tuneup. It misses during initial acceleration, but I don't think it's anything new plugs/wires won't fix. It pulls hard, shifts firm, the oil is nice and clean...I'm certain the motor is in great shape.

We suspect the car was at some point ran into a ditch, as the radiator support was obviously once red, the underbody pan up front was missing, and someone had put a base front on instead of the SE bumper as there were no foglights or front lip.

If any further damage was done, however, someone fixed it right as the car was perfectly straight. So no big deal there. Can't tell anything happened unless you know what you're looking for.

Otherwise, in great shape. Clean interior with power everything, sunroof, security system, cd player, keyless entry, tint, etc. Apparent trunk leak as it was a bit damp in there but that was the worst fo the interior issues.

Anyway....we managed to get the guy to come down to $3000.

I don't think we're going to buy it as it's just not the most logical thing for us right now, but DAMN. An S14 SE with only 55,000 miles for $3000. :)

The car is located in Columbia, SC if anyone else wants it.
