Are these just rumours or is HKS seriously doing proto-type work? It's interesting someone brought up the old-school rally cars, those things were SO SICK. I think they were called the Group B's or something. The Lancia's, Audi GT's, etc, they had to tone it down with the hp wars because spectators were getting killed since the cars took a LOT of skill to control.

If only someone like HKS would make a supercharger for the 240

what happened was that Group B didn't have good spectator protection. It was common to see spectators on the track as cars were coming flying corners. It finally took a rash of off track expeditions that ended in a few fatalities to bring the end of Group B. But from Group B, WRC rose, so all is good.

the STi has a very nice setup, ideal for drag racing, however impractical on streets or auto X...

Talking about space management, they managed to keep the A/C and the battery…

Have you seen the WRC Argentina rallies? Every time they have horrible crowd control. One dude started a brush fire one season as he was bbq'ing, and the water truck that came to put it out took a turn too fast and rolled over on top of some parked rally cars, one of the drivers got out just in time--- and several people got hurt at one of the water jumps when a Peugeot ran 'em over. I can't remember who was driving at the time, but they were pretty shook up about it. Those crazy Argentians get way too close to the road compared to the other WRC stage locations. I guess the police figure if your'e in the way when the car comes then you deserve what-ever happens to ya. :pface

It is funny looking at that engine bay how many parts are the same from the STi to the WRX. It looks so familiar.bud
