After watchin that youtube video of the artisan turbo coupe, I knew one thing and one thing only! I have to have it. haha so I called up Brain Fox and he and kenny are gonna hook me up with the artisan exhaust for cheaper than its gonna run for in a few weeks when it is up for buy. HAHA ya!! sorry NISMO, I had to cancel that order it just doesnt sound like the artisan at all.

How do you know what the Artisan Cat-back for non-turbo Altimas are going to sound like? I have not bought an exhaust yet, waiting to see all my options. How much will the Exhaust be when its out?

I dont mean to be an arse... but... After the dozens of exhaust threads... you decided to pick the one no one has heard or even seen (cant compare to the turbo)?

Furthermore, how do you know you got a deal if its not even out yet... "ohh yeh we will give it to you at a discount $800 delivered" and low and behold it hits the streets at that price?

Idk man... the nismo doesnt sound like the artisan because it doesnt have a turbo blowing into it lol...

And as far as the "sweet deal" is concerned... i have yet to see someone beat my $540 delivered price on the nismo cat-back.

I agree with everything you are saying, the deal I was given was actually very close to what u got ur exhaust for. which is way lower than what I would have had to pay for the nismo exhaust. now, the way I see it is if I dont like it I can turn around and sell it for a little less than what they are selling it for and buy me a nismo exhaust still. So unless I am just an idiot, which I will admit I do make a lot of stupid decisions haha, then I really dont see how I could lose. The deal is not finalized yet through so unless someone can give me a good enough point to change my mind I dont see y its not worth a shot?!?

All about hookin' up my boys. Artisan non turbo version exhaust Kenny will hook you up with is 2.5, turbo version is 3 inch. He will do 540 shipped all day long, can't beat that. Put money that the Artisan cat back will do more power on the dyno because the Nismo is only 2 and 1/4 and with this V6 that is just not enough flow.

Guess you will have to see what you think when you get it right, let Kenny know bro.

Maybe I am missing something here. He has a 3.5L but he is getting an exhaust for a 2.5L Turbo???? Someone is going to have to dumb it down for me or something, that just doesn't make good sense. Maybe that is why it is so cheap !!

Congrats! I posted the video of the turbo A/C yesterday where you can hear the exhaust, it sounds pretty good. I've been wanting more info about this cat-back for the longest time. I e-mailed turbochargers.com to no avail. I remember Kenny posting info on it and I remember the price being around $600. I can't wait to hear more videos!

BTW, '2.5' is referring to the diameter of the the exhaust piping. Correct me if I'm wrong.

PS: Can we get some more clips of the exhaust?

I think the 2.5 does refer to the piping size and not the engine.

Since you're the performance guru, I thought I'd ask you. Do turbo'd cars tend to sound quieter than non turbo cars? I like this exhaust and I like the price even more, but I need to hear more of it before making a decision.

Typically turbo'd cars have a lot larger diameter piping than non-turbo cars, thus the exhaust is going to sound lower and louder.

As far as exhausts go, yes. A turbocharger is a giant "air baffle", if you will, in an exhaust system, since the housing directly connects in the exhausts "air flow path" to spin the turbine. Therefore there will be less sound/tone coming out, and more a "rushing air" sound. After all, that charged air has to go somewhere
