ummm they probably help somewhat. they really help with the side-to-side movement. you might want to look into Do Luck floor bars. they are supposed to work against the front to back movement.

wlel, they siffen the suspension, so tkae that intoa ccound, and yeswepromise is right, I woudl check into floor bars if your dunning hard drag launches(as well as drag-specific dampers)

I had very noticeable results with my strut bar and a rear sway bar, with a strut bar you really feel a tighter steering, and the sway bar keeps my car as flat as a dime.

Exar i was thinking that the floor bars would hinder weight transfer, Im no familiar with dragging the SX yet, but im thinking it is kinda light and might have problems hooking. So i was thinking all the weight transfer i can get would be a good thing. Im trying to make this car an all around perfromer. (and still turn 10's) :)

No rear sway... front sway is nothing but weight and sorta a safety thing cause the car sorta wants to wander around w/o one.

Strut bars are just chassis reinforcement and I see no reason not to run them.

floor bars wouldnt influence weight transfer, it would just reduce the floorpan flex under a load(IE drag launch), which would actually result in better weight transfer to the rear tires :)

chasis reinforcement is a good thing.-chet

For an ideal drag launch you don't want a rear sway ...
