I took my stock swaybar off a couple of weeks ago when I first started changing my front suspension parts out with new parts. I took it off because one of the endlinks was bent and the other was not connected at all to the swaybar due to a missing washer. I planned to upgrade to a new aftermarket swaybar but I realized that since the stabilizer wasn't complete then I hadn't really felt what the stock bar could do so I decided to keep it, put it back on and use it. An upgrade to a thicker bar might not be for me. So, I cleaned it up and got some new energy suspension bracket bushings and endlink bushings. I was going to order a new set of OEM endlinks but I was at the junkyard this weekend and there was a new(ahem!) 240SX in the Nissan section all proped up on two sets of wheels ripe for the picking. I snatched the front swaybar endlinks off, took them home and cleaned them up. I soon realized that the ball joint boots had small tears in them so my question is should I just get a new set or just moly grease the used set up and go with them for now?

That's a personal preference considering the condition of most endlinks on the 240's running around right now . Most are probably significantly worse than the ones you just got.

your old endlink < the "new" ones you got < brand spanking new ones.

The amount of difference represented by the "<" is left to your interpretation...
