Hey Nico,
So I'm buying sway and strut bars from racingline now but after looking at the images shown I'm wondering if it'll interfere with anything, if I'll need to take off the engine cover (heat shield) or anything. What are the pros and cons of removing the cover?
Also, opinions on these rims?

20 or 42mm?
Thanks as always guys!

Racingline all the way, Nothing interferes unless you have a cold air intake, in which case you will need to check the heat shield clearing. Other then that, good product. Sway bar you feel difference, strut, not so much but looks nice.

Thanks again innovazn!
Yea, I'm not expecting much from the strut bar besides hopefully preventing some chassis flex. And it looks cool.
While you're here, I'd like to get your opinion on something else.
Trying to decide between vinyl wrapping my grill, getting the c-mod, or the stillen front fascia (if they make it for the 2012)

Stillen's fascia for 2010+ model is ugly. C-mod looks good but not on all colors. Vinyl wrapping is your best option imo.

Strut bar wont interfere with anything. I have K&N intake and the MAF sticks straight up in the air off of it, doesnt even come close to the strut bar.

Just what i wanted to hear, thanks Beasy!
Yea I'm trying to go that route too innovazn, already debadged the back of the car.
The c-mod looks awesome on your car though.
So if I were to go with the c-mod, my car being super black, would I still have to get it painted and whatnot?

YES.

It comes unprimed, unpainted. Spend the extra couple $$$ to get it done right. No Plastidip, no unpainted plastic, no vinyl.

Gotcha. Couple more questions for you guys :)
How do I remove the brake light from my rear spoiler? When I was debadging my car, some of the 3M tape remover spray got under the light so I need to clean that.
Also, what kind of CAI are available for my car besides the typhoon? Typhoon is illegal in california (although probably by the time I'm done with this car, it won't be very legal anyway)
If I wanted to vinyl wrap the hood, my car being super black, what color would look best for it?

1 Not sure about your brake light but i belive theres 2 lil covers covering 2 screws but again im not sure.

2 altima-coupe-aftermarket-performance-pa ... 34451.html - Just dont get anything with the massive heat shield (unless you want to cut/bend it out of the strut bar way)

3 Your call, play with options but tbh, no need to vinyl.... Leave it as is.

the stillen fascia for 2010+ looks very similar to oem and you would still have to buy a new grill to debagde

mixed feelings about the facsia.... angle of the picture looks weird way too much photoshop.... and the colour of the vehicle = no justice....

Just dont like how they delete the fog lights.

What you will need to worry about is whether or not your bolts will line up (Strut tower). I had a crazy problem lining mine up. If it wasn't for the help of Hussain and mmx23z, I'd be driving around with at least 2-3 missing bolts because I can't get them to align. The heat shield is not a concern, as long as you position it like the demo picture they sent ya. Removing the cover...pro I guess is you get to look at the 3.5 naked engine, con-dirt/debris can get into your engine directly because of the lack of a cover. The strut bar makes a pretty big difference by the way. For me, it kept my car VERY stable in hard turns. I'll repeat this once again...driving down to Lake Berryessa blah blah blah I threw my car into a corner (one way road) at 40+ mph and all I heard was a little chirp from the OEM tires. I had the STB/RSB combo but not lowered. If you get it, drive it like you stole it, you'll feel the difference ;)

Wheels are nice but I would go with 19x8.5 :dblthumb:

If you have coilovers, check the screw lengths... they might not be long enough to secure the strut bar. I know that BC's are too short.

Yea I'll be sure to check that out. I think I'll be getting megan coilovers, since I've talked to a shop already and they said they would sell me a new set for $800. Is that a good price?
Yea, for the front I think I'll go with your selection innovazn, stillen lip spoiler and c-mod
