Okay.. let's see if I can keep this simple, while at the same time explaining the differences:
1. Sway Bar - (Anti-Sway Bar, Anti-Roll Bar, Stabilizer Bar, same thing) Reduces body roll (keeps the car flat during turns). Yes, your Altima's have them, aftermarket bars will be larger and stronger, reducing body roll, and improving the cornering ability. (I like howstuffworks.com, I've copied their text below for more detail.) There is a front sway bar and a rear sway bar.
2. Strut Tower Brace - (strut bar, strut brace, STB, etc.) - This is a brace that connects each front or rear shock towers via a sturdy bar. This reduces flex of the body during cornering, improving the stability of the car, by connecting the shock towers. A good representative image is one from the G35:
Rear strut tower braces can get a bit tricker, since they install in the trunk area, and small holes need to be placed in the fabric panels, like you'll see in these installation instructions:

Undercarriage Brace - (sub-frame connectors, frame connectors, etc.) - These are specialized pieces that connect to various places underneath the vehicle, stiffening the chassis in locations that may contain flex under cornering load. We haven't done enough testing with the Altima in a track environment to determine what might be best, and if these are necessary.

I hope this is helpful. I'm far from an engineer, but one of the things we'll begin doing soon is some technical write-ups on all types of products, to better explain the products we're developing, what goes into the R&D and fabrication, and why they are important.
