Yes, I just joined, so this is my first post here, but not my first post IYKWIM. Anyway, to answer your question, what kind of woble are you having? How many miles on your truck too?
The PF/Qx4 have a 5 link rear setup, which means there are lots of little rubber bits that can wear and cause excess play at the pivot points. But a woble can be lots of things...worn shocks, bad tire(s), out of balance wheel(s), so it may be necessary to eliminate some things before actually finding the problem. Also, lower ball joints are on the front, but you mention the rear, so I am a bit confused. A sway bar will not help with woble.
A sway bar is designed to reduce sway (body roll) by increasing the effective spring rate of the outside spring (the one compressing) going into a corner. Over normal bumps and going straight, you will not feel the effects of a sway bar. However, in hard corning you will. (I Know it is more complicated than this, but simple is good.)
To help eliminate what is causing your woble, you might try having your wheels re-balanced. If that doesn't fix it, try having your tires rotated (front to rear and rear to front, etc). If that doesn't fix it, you can go with new rear shocks. If that still doesn't fix it, you may have to have all of the busings in the rear replaced and that could get expensive.
As far as replaceing the rear shocks, if you are good with tools, it should be able to be done in your driveway or a buddy's driveway. Some jack stands (because taking the wheels off makes it easy) and 4 bolts and your golden. That should save you $200 minus some beer and pizza if friends help.
