has anyone ever had their sway bar changed becasue of a clunking noise? thats what my dealership told me today., i find it weird though, i thought the compresson rod was the issue, but apparantly not... has anyone encountered this. i have an 03 g sedan

I haven't heard of it, but it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibilities.

the compression rods cause more of a squeak than a thunking noise
