2004 G35X AWD Sedan. Tried to replace sway bar links. Bottom of link slides over a bolt coming out of a ball joint that is in the lower control arm(transverse link). Broke the ball joint trying to separate the old link from.the ball joint that comes through the control arm. 2 questions: what is the lower sway bar link called(shop manual shows it but doesn't name it)....and....where can I get this ball joint. After market control arm at "autopartsway" has control arm but just has the hole for the sway bar link ball joint. I am stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The sway bar is connected to the transverse link via the "stabilizer connecting rod", AKA: sway bar end links

You purchase the whole end link/rod with both ball joints on it.

Thanks Audtatious. The 04 AWD looks a little different and it just slides over a ball joint that comes through the Transverse Link. To my surprise Infiniti sold me the ball joint that comes through the Tansverse Link so I didn't have to buy an entire :bigthumb: Control Arm(Transverse Link) The B joint was 50 bucks, put it in tomorrow.......thanks, Ray

You know, I didn't look for the AWD configuration in the FSM. Glad it's coming out OK for ya.

Any Infiniti Dealer will know what you are talking about. They consider it part of the control arm( transverse link in infiniti lingo)
