I recentley found out on my 81 720 I did not have a front sway bar. It is not that uncommon I guess after reading around. I was having the hardest time trying to find one. I was reading a bunch and decided I would try to maybe get one off a 620 pick up but still really didnt know if it was gonna work. On the usual sites I order from www.summitracing.com and www.rockauto.com They sold the endlinks and all the mounting bushing but not the sway bar itself. So in looking for a front sway bar for a 620 on summit I found one from years 77-79. It was an Addco front anti sway bar for $200+ so I really was thinking is this worth it. Then thought the junk yard route. But still didnt know if the ones from a 620 would fit. so i kept researching and wasnt really finding anything. I kept seeing the brand ADDCO so I decided I would go directley to there site.( www.addco.net ) I opened their catalog and to my suprise they had Datsun in there so clicked on it and starting at the top reading down F10 below that was 2000 1600 spl roadster then 200sx then 210 b210 then 240 z then 260z and so on... you get the point. Finally made it down to 610 then 610 staion wagon then 710 and expecting to see 720 next it skipped directly to 810! I was very frusturated at this point wondering why they are making a sway bar for every single datsun ever made besides the 720... but of course i jumped into a conclusion to soon and at the very bottom of the page there it sat right above Pick up (4WD). Pick up (2WD) 80-81 77-79 and To 76. I was quite happy to see this knowing they specifically made one for my truck. Heres the link to the catalog page http://www.addco.net/aftermarket/catalog/datsun/ Any way I went to there list of dealers which there are a ton of. The front one is 7/8" in diameter steel and powder coated and goes for about 150$ on most of the sites and the End link kits included mounting bushings and all. They also have a rear sway bar availabe too. Sorry I wrote so much but I was just bored and thought I would tell you guys how I stumbled upon my discovery. I spent several hours on the computer reading forums and hunting so this post really dosent give you the full feel of the dilema I was having but if your still reading im done now thank you for finishing and hope it helped. I will now have to update my "front suspension and handling post" lol
