I wont be able to afford an S14 for a while, but Ive seen some S13's going for $1-2000 (I can afford that!!). Is it reasonable to pick up a S13, turbo it, and then just throw the turbo parts on an S14 when I get it?Obviously I would have to start with a DE (91?-93). And there are plenty of S13 manuals around but most S14 I see are autos. Could I even swap the 5 spd from the S13 to the S14 too?? I think I would ahve all the donor parts I need.I know the S13 will likely have lotsa miles on it but I would only go for low boost (5-7 psi). I wouldnt up the boost until I installed the turbo system on the lower mileage S14 (and added retuned ECU, bigger injectors, etc).Im sure I would need new IC piping and maybe a new downpipe/exhaust, but the manifold, injectors, and FPR should just swap right over.Bottom line-are the S13 and S14 similar enough to make this worth it?

ThanksJay

if u really want an s14 just save ur money to get that then save to get the turbo kit. not only will u waste money on a car u dont really want u will waste the life of the turbo and other parts slighty. and gettin an older car with many miles comes with more matianence, usually. i've learned over the past year of owning my car to not go cheap if u really want sumthin save and get the quality product not a cheapo
