swapping transmission

ok do any1 have any good pointers before i take out my transmission to put a rebuilt one.i couldnt really find anythong online.has anyone did this swap also i will be putting a brand new clutch in the rebuilt one.how difficult is that?thank you

its fairly self explanitory just take your time. make sure u get a new throwout bearing when u put in the cluch. also if u dont have a factory service manual or chilton book i suggest u get one. they tell u little stuff that u wouldnt normally think of and tourque specs and stuff. good luck man

the trick to get it out and put it back in is rotate the trans so the started boss is down other wise it will hit the tunnel on the body making it nearly impossible to get out.
