So I already have an s13 chasis(1990, if this matters) and it has a sr20det redtop already in it. Put in by the previous owner. So all the wiring and such were done by him. What im wondering is can I take out the motor I have in the s13 and just bring it over to the s14 zenki(1995) chasis. Ecu and all? Without modifications to the harness?

So would it be easier to just get a stock KA s14 harness and cut and splice.

If your not good with wiring it can be very time consuming and a HUGE pain in the a**

if you want the quickest and easyest method, just buy the harness for the SR and sell the harness for your s13 SR and boom

Ok if I do go that route do I just buy the Main harness. So what im looking for is "Main harness for sr20det redtop for s14" And the lower harness should but the same as the s14 too right?

well see the harness I already have is matched up for the sr20det but the ecu part is matched up for the s13. So what im thinking is if I just jump a few wires and make them match up for the s14? Sounds right? or no.

Sorry dont mean to thread jack but im also planning on doing the exact same thing your talking about. I was planning on buying a pre-made harness from The Wiring Specialist (both main and lower) for around $500 for a s13 redtop sr20 into a s14 chassis. They claim that there harness is a complete plug and play and can be installed in 15 mins so im gonna give them a try. Just some food for thought.
