swapping out mirrors

Hi.. I am new here. I read you can put 3.5 mirrors on 2.5 coupe. However, I check my wiring and there is only 3 wires. Am I screwed? Thx

You aren't screwed, I was in the same boat too. However I am proof you can hardwire the rest in. It is a major PITA and not an average job for most people. The defrost function still doesn't work on my mirrors yet either only the turn signals. It took about 8 hours to track down the wiring and to hookup what I've got, and the the project costs about $400ish so far too. Its def not worth it for most people, guess I'm just not average. =)

What packages did you guys get? I think i have the convenience package b/c of the moonroof and i dont know how many wires i have so i was jw.

I bought mine from "Nissan Parts Online" the mirror assemblies were $152 each, the painted coveres were $16 each (unpainted of course) and then I paid the shop that the dealer uses to paint them for $50 each. And to answer the other post I'm full base model. The only option mine had was floor mats (not anymore of course). Now I have everything in the sig.

Thats for coupes, just so everyone is clear. The sedans use completely different mirrors. You need the assemblies and the covers, the assemblies come with the glass included. Usually shipping is free for orders over $25 too.

ok thanks!! i know this is a noob question but just before everything is bought, i have to buy the 3.5se mirrors right?

Correct. Remember though, that if you aren't prewired you have a big job of wiring ahead of you to make them work.
