What is the difference placement-wise on dis., PS, lines etc. I just bought a low-mi. ka24de (Japan model) from an engine dis. co. and probably sure it's from a newer KA 95+? Right now my s13 dis. is not fitting onto this JDM KA, I'm wondering maybe this engine is equivalent to s14's, so I'm not sure. Was it a mistake to buy this JDM KA? Valve cover bolts are all different to. What would I need to take out or add if I'm doing s14 to s13 KA swap? Any advice/help would be appreciated.

I suppose the most important thing to ask is what the hell is it coming out of? I mean, JDM 240's never got KA's so its (i tihnk) going to be a truck motor right? In that case think lower cam duration for 'increased' torque output and other changes found on trucks.

What the hell does a JDM KA - if there is such a thing - have to do with an ODB2 KA to ODB1 KA swap in a 240??
