Ive been on the road to my turbo swap for a while now checking parts off the list weekly so far ive got: Z32 MAF, Nismo Motor & transmission Mounts, Tomei Expreme Manifold, i still need to get a turbo back exhaust, Injectors, FPR, Nistune, & NGK NTK/AFX Wideband.

What do you recomend for 550cc Injectors? HKS are preeetty expensive & im not sure if i should chance going with some used ebay injectors.

what exactly do i need for a Fuel pressure regulator? ive been told the nismo type B is one of the better FPR's because you can choose to not mount it directly on the fuel rail, but then i just need a bracket for it?

I just took my ECU out so its ready to be sent to Nistune, when i get it back can i just plug it back in and go take my car to get tuned or will it need a tune to drive?

Thanks.

I would recomend Deatschwerks Injectors (550), My buddies and I all run them an no one has really had any issues. You also can get a $100 core charge refund if you want to send your old 370 injectors to deatschwerks.

I would also recomend getting a Nismo type A, as its simply an adjustable direct replacement on the SR. Also, remember you need a gauge to monitor and make your adjustments with the regulator.

You will also need a base map for your Nistune, im sure you can find a base tune for your setup somewhere online and upload it. Or just trailer it to the tuner..

Good luck!

Ok, thanks for the injector info. And w/ mistune they charge 95$ just for the usb cord..... -_- Also if you remember way back when i said i won the used s15 turbo on ebay lololol, i didn't know anything about the turbos and indeed it wasn't a 2871, its an s14 2560r =/ my mechanic said it might smoke after i put it on... i just hope i at least have some extra money by the time march comes and its time to get everything installed so if it does go bad i can grab a 2871, also i was just going to go with the Nismo type B because it looks cooler being able to mount it on the firewall instead of the rail.

Well here are a few options ill throw out there

The RS3871 is the ISIS non-ball bearing GT2871, Ive seen people make good power without many complaints for a fraction of the cost if you dont want to drop the coin on a Garrett 2871. And you will have the great customer support that Enjuku has been providing on the ISIS products.

And of course a brand new GT2560R

Good to know about the isis but yeah id prob go for the 2871, after i havw this turbo swap on im real anxious to see if im going to love my car a lot more and all the money ive wasted paid off and might continue to build it, or just be tired of it and sell :/, but if i have the new turbo on and am really satisfied and want to continue dumping in the money pit... Full race twin scroll set up it is...
