Swapping Dash

OK so i know how most feel about swapping analog to digital, but to me it's a must. I have searched endlessly to find information on how to convert my 1986 300zx NA (Analog Dash) to Digital from my 1985 300ZX NA (Digital). I have removed the dash from the 85 and have already installed it into the 86 but the only lights that come on are the top row warning lights, NO Tach, NO Speedo etc.. I am aware that I have to add the compass, speedo sensor, and all those goodies, problem is I have NO connections for them. Do I have to swap the WHOLE harness out?!?! Or can I modify the harness? Somebody please help! Ive got two Z's not on the road until I finish this escapade. I will post pics if anyone would like reference on wtf im talking about

These cars have lots of harnesses. I believe you'll need the dash harness (which really is like 3 separate harnesses although truly I think only 1 will be different. But if you are swapping the dash it just makes sense to swap the whole thing complete.I also believe you'll need the engine room harness which on the 85 I believe had the remote speed sensor. That engine room harness is a bear if you have all your drivetrain in place.

ok so i swapped the entire harness including the doors and all the sensors and all and the dash warning lights come on but NO speedometer, tach oil/fuel/water. wtf!

compass is working along with the accelerometer but wtf did i possibly miss,

yup, and the doors and all....theres an electical ignition module under batter thats not on my 86...maybe this? but its ignition..idk man we ended up swapping entire engine and transmission from 85 to 86...whew im tired

all harnesses, soldered power supply...still no graphics on dash. wtf. dash works in other car. somebody help plz

If you moved everything over I'd start with the basic trouble shooting
