How difficult would it be to swap the ABS from a 95 to a 90Q? Has anybody tried this before? My ABS is leaking at the seams.

I would think that it's more trouble than it's worth. The later models got an upgraded system - the difference escapes me at the moment. Maybe an additional rear line, so that each caliper could be independently modulated?

In any case, I would say your most economical option is to replace your actuator with one from a 1992 or 1993 car. The seals were updated at some point in the 1991(?) model year with beefier ones that could withstand the acid created by dirty brake fluid. I see a few available for less than $75 on http://www.car-part.com searching under "ABS Pump"

If nothing else you can use it, and if it leaks too, send your old one off to A-1 Cardone for a rebuild. I think Pep Boys was the best deal back in 2000 or 2001 when I sent mine off... maybe $250?

Good luck!

Heath
