swapping 90spec rear for 99spec perspex?

I have a 91 TT Z32... Currently restoring and the area right below the 3rd brake light in the weather stripping area is rotting away and I'm having a hard time finding the trim to replace it with. (You here alot of air whistling through) So I was thinking of swapping to the perspex strip and 99spec spoiler or aftermarket is it possible? I have pics of what I'm talking about but this site isnt very mobile friendly

That's the link for the hatch weather strip. I personally think there are better spoiler options out there if you wanna swap to a wing. I'm a big fan of the Stillen type III and the Greddy GRacer for wing style. The 99 spec looks a little plain if you're going for wing style, but that may just be me. I personally have been looking at the TwinZ stuff for their flushmounts, which I would combine with a roof mount.

Funny you say that just picked up a stillen type III locally for $225.. Cheaper than the perspex strip i just ordered go figure
