ok here's the deal: auto trans car with manual trans, engine, and wiring harness. the harness runs from the ecu on the right of the car all the way around to the drivers side into the fuse box and on up into the ignition switch. the car is not equipped with the wires that tell the car to start when the clutch is mashed in, therefore it won't start. (that's my theory anyway) there has to be some wires somewhere that I can jumper or something to get this thing to start how can I fool this car into thinking the clutch pedal is mashed??

I know this is not a convertible, but if anyone has done plenty of auto/manual swaps, its you convertible guys, I'm desparate for help, please!!

Probably need to make the car think its either in park or neutral to get it to turn the starter.

I don't remember which wires need to be connected, check the thread on 5-speed swaps, info should be there...

(unless you changed the ECU, the auto-ECU will not care at all about any signal from the clutch, and would care about thinking it is in neutral or park.)
