Swaping Terrano Diesel engine in Pathfinder

Hi everyone.

I own a 4wd 99 chilkoot pathfinder. The motor is the VG33.

Assuming that the terrano is the exact same model,Is this possible to swap the diesel engine from a JDM to a Pathfinder ?

I am planning to build an expedition truck. And the diesel would be a great improvement.

Is this ever been done ?
