Wow! I had actaully considered the same thing before I went back to doing another RB20. What are you doing for exhaust routing (dp/fp), shifter position, and driveshaft?

Some day swap out the block with a 2jz and have the best of both worlds... 1.5jz's are said to be one sweet motor (1J heads are suppose to be better)!

Nice to see people go against the norm!

The whole dp and exhaust is just custom 3" exhaust piping. Driveshaft, my stock was cut plus the end of the 1jz and put them together. Shifter position was kinda a pain because it was a couple of inches further up than stock so a custom one that would work efficiently was made.
