Hello all! I'll be moving to Ohio this summer, and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good tuner shop, in the Ohio, Northern Kentucky, Eastern Indiana area, which does good quality SR20 swaps?

Also, does anyone know if there are emissions inspection requirements for Ohio?

By the way, I drive a '93 240 coupe.

Thanks!

There is zerolift over in Fairfield for the swap, little pricey, ****ty work, but has a knowledgablen installer (TJ). The owner is an a$$hole. There is raceline, that does all the tuning, very good people. Then there is Total performance racing. The owner is a harda$$, but the technician is very good.Lastly, there are no more e-check in Cinci, Ohio.Just PM me when you are ready to have it done, There are several people around this area that would help you out with the install.

Thanks for the response and the offer to help!

I think I'll go with one of those shops to do my install. I don't have the time, tools, and know-how to do the swap at the house. I'll just spend the money to have a good shop do it, turn-key.

However, when it's time to upgrade, I'll definitely look you up again. I'm moving to the Dayton area. Any Ohio S13/S14 owners get together on the weekends somewhere?

Fregisr, one last question for you -

Do you have a website for the above mentioned tuner shops? I googled and found a website for Zerolift, but it doesn't look like it's been updated in a while. Found no sites for the other two shops. A phone number would be good too.

I owe you!

double_jd13, let's have it. I'm assuming it's bad since you don't want to just post it?

Actually, I'm starting to lean toward KA-T since my KA is relatively new...

I'll look you up when I get settled in Dayton by the end of May...

Most people have had some "interesting" experiences with them to say the least. Their prices on products aren't too bad, so if you're just looking for parts go there. As far as engine building and other custom work...I'll leave that to the other guys to speak up about.

I did it my self. The swap itself is just a weekend, it's all the cleaning of the old engine bay and making the sr look pretty that's more time consuming

Tell me about it. I'm just starting to strip a S13 blacktop down to start a rebuild. I just hope I don't screw it up.

About time you get on here. I think we might be heading out your way towards the middle of the year. We need a vacation big time. You'll have to take us to that restauraunt again. I saw your car in the trailer, looked nice.

Wha-Chu talking about "about time I get here", shoot I signed up to this site way before you... I was just too lazy to reply to anyone's post or entering into this site all together, too busy looking at p0rn and passing out after masturbatlon... Anywho, give me a call when you're coming, in advance please, not "Hey, we're in LAX, come get us" type of stuff, I might still be passed out, you know? Well, hope all things are well...

Call me!,

Hey Danny-Boy,

On a serious note, I have a friend that have a wiring harness from a front clip, I think it's for the dash area, I'm not sure. Call me and let me know if you are interested as soon as you can, alright?

Laters,

I own a little business out of my house. I deal with Zerolift for my engines. They are good people and Tree is a cool kid. I recently got a JDM 4g63t from them at really good price with only 50k on it. It took two months to come in though.

I can only speak from personal experience, I don't think i would have them install or work on anything, Prices on labor is a bit extreme.

I think the KA-T shop you're asking about is Import Auto Performance. Has anyone delt with them? They're a sponsor in the KA-T forum.
