Swap RB26-S13 stabiliser mounts

Hi,

today I do the swap. I wonder that I cannot read anything here about the stabiliser. The engine (RB26) is onto the stabilser from the car, so I have to instal the stabiliser from the Skyline because it makes a bow in front of theoilpan. ( I have both axle of the S14)

Second I wonder about the Mackinney mounts. The orignal engine mounts( SR20DET) is install onto the axle. The RB26 mounts is 35 cm in front of.I think the Mackinney mounts are not 35 cm.

I want to fix costumer mounts parallel to the RB engine ( selfmade) at the carbody.

Modify the S14 crossmember. use the RB25DET oil pan and transmission. I think that is what your looking for

Thank you, I have got the RB 25 DET transmission, the oilpan is modified( it takes 5 hours). Crossmembers is tke right word.

The mounts of Mckinny don't fit because you have the engine KA24.In europe we have got CA18.

If you mean the engine at last I drove a SR20DET. But it's sold.

ca/sr and ka all share the same xmember so if you have mckinney mounts there should be no problem mounting the motor.

O.K. mckinney mounts on the pictures looks very short. They must fitbecause a lot of guys have done that.

Does anyone fit the engine at the body?

Yes--there are many RB motors in S13 and S14 chassis

Our mount kits fit any 180sx/silvia/200sx/240sx with a CA/SR/KA24d or de Car motor. There are many RB26 motor that have the RB20 or RB25 engine steel or alum adapter changed because they we in a different chassis or year. You must determin what you have if the mount do not work. Send me a picture of you engine mount and trans we we will help you with your [email protected] the stabilizar bar(sway) should clear if you using the RB25 oil pan!!!!

we want to build the mounts parallel to the engine (at he carbody)

We use the oilpan from the RB26. So we need the stabilizar bar(sway)from the RB26. Do the stabilizar bar(sway ) fit?
