I know I've read about it somewhere..but has anybody replaced the factory bose sub in the read deck with a aftermarket sub?

I already have a seperate amp and Head unit set up and working around the bose, so the bose sub is not even playing right now.

if so how does it sound?

currently i have a JL 12w3 v2 sub hooked up in the trunk, and it works great..but im hoping to get a functional 6.5" to play the notes that the 12" misses..

Anyone?

Do you have a picture of it and know the size of it?

So you're wanting to LP the JL at around say 70-80hz, then bandpass a pair of 6.5's at the JL LP freq and then around 150-200hz?
