swap? or too much of a mess? help!

i need some advice and know-how. i want to do an rb swap (20 or 25) in an s13 at some point, but the car i am looking at might make the swap a bit more of a mess than it needs to be. the car was originally a sohc, and was swapped for a dohc. it may have been an auto too. how big of a mess would the wiring for a swap be? for rb, or anything for that matter (ca, sr) i just dont want to be searching around and trying to mix+match sohc and dohc wiring guides. should i wait for a better car?

if you dont know what your doin, or hate wiring, a rb swap will always be a pain to wire. you have to decide howmuch your wiling to deal with. but that car woulndt be much harder than any other. but its easy if your proficiant with a wiring diagram
