Does anyone know of any good shops that will do the swap in the San Diego area? I know that Mckinney AutoSports (I thinks thats the name) in Santee does all sorts of swaps, but from what I read on their website, it looks like they wont install if you are planning to use the car for street use.

Any other places around that can get the engine (with all required parts) and do the swap? I really want the rb25 swap, but am now leaning to the sr20. I dont care about emission testing, cause I got that taken care of. I just want a shop that'll do the swap with no questions asked in regards to me driving on the road.

Toss me an e-mail at [email protected] or [email protected]or peep me on AIM: ucsdpimentel

Thanks.

ur pretty close to me... if u dont mind driving for a few hours theres a shop in stockton that will do it, Autosport Addiction. It will be pricey. I recommend doing it yourself, grab a few buddies and do it in a weekend.

Try Cartune Motorsports in City of Industry, Phase 2 Motortrend in West Covina, Sleeper Motorsports in San Bernardino, SP Engineering in City of Industry...and a couple more which I forgot...

If you don't mind the cost, Phase 2 and SP are quality.

Thanks for the info. I'll check the prices at these places out. By the way, do you know if these places will be hard-pressed to allow me to operate my vehicle on the road? In other words, are they gonna be ****s about swapping into my ride if I'm using it for street use?

Anyway, thanks again for the info. If anyone else has any places, please hook it up, peace.

I don't think any shop gives a horse a$s if you drive it daily or not with an illegal motor...all they care about is the money you're gonna be paying them. Just take it to Mckinney Motorsports down there in SD; I dont' think they give a s***!!!
