Will this work or will the bulbs burn out? I dont intend to use the high beams, just want the low beams looking decent temporarly

Steer clear of any aftermarket bulbs except Sylvanias. The silverstars are a great upgrade (search) and won't jack up your car's sensitive harnesses.

you cn go with PIAA's, I ran them in my car for about 4 years with no problems... I blew one bulb when I tried ot take my headlight off and I accidentaly touched the bulb...

I was at pepboys and saw Sylvanias bulbs, and the purple package that says "20% brighter than oem" but I couldnt find one that would fit. I asked the guy what would fit my car and he said the Sylvanias H1 (dark blue package, no tint on the bulb). It cost $6 and I just got one so I hope it matches the oem bulb.

I'd have to agree with the two bulbs, but eh, beats a ticket right?

Just a note on Piaa (Xtreme White) vs. Sylvania (Silverstar) - I've had both, and the Piaa's are more expensive (probably twice as much) anywhere, while the Sylvanias are just as good or more likely better, though I wasnt able to compare them side by side.
