Hey guys,
Im was trying to get more power from my coupe but im thinking about doing an engine swap with a 3.5 coupe or an S-er Vspec.I was also thinking about doing a transmission swap. Does anyone know a local shop in miami FL that can do this or anyone here can give me some advice on my idea. thanks!

Ok so I am assuming you have a 2.5L. Swapping in the Spec V 2.5L isn't going to give you much. Money VS Power = not worth it at all. You'll gain like 20hp at the most. If you're going to do the swap route, well you would want to do the 3.5L swap, although it's going to cost a lot. You'll need the following to get started:

3.5L Engine
3.5L ECU
3.5L Wiring Harness
3.5L Mounts

If you have a donor car then you're set. Are you CVT 2.5L? If so, you will need an MTX transmission as well. The CVT transmission is going to cost an arm and a leg.

Honestly best bang for the buck if you are already MTX 2.5L would be a turbo setup, but it really depends on what you want and how much you want to spend.

Swapping in the 2.5L from the Spec V is totally pointless.

Ive been thinking about something like this also
I came to the conclusion that the best way would be to
do an SER transmission swap(becuase i have cvt) and then do
turbo build. I would have Eshift up here in jersey do
all my work...

Cool. Lots of cash.

With the SER transmission swap, make sure you double check for the LSD. If it's been tampered with or pulled from the trans, find another donor..
